Lapfilme is a company with solid experience in audiovisual, having started its activities in 1982 with the feature-length documentary Jânio a 24 Quadros, awarded at the Brasília Festival and other festivals. The film was released commercially with great success in cinemas and video homes by Globovvide. The producer also has to its credit the feature films The Island Effect, Hans Staden, Tapete Vermelho and As Doze Estrelas, which received awards in Brazil and abroad and were commercially released in cinemas and videohomes. He also made institutional and TV documentaries. Produced  eight short films, including Operação Brasil, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Oberhausen Festival, Germany, one of the most important international short film festivals.
